Dress

When it comes to daily dress, a man should look like he’s ready for work or a fight.  That’s it.  Anything else is just gay.  Besides an excellently tailored suit, a man looks ridiculous or too feminine when all his clothes come together to make a perfect “outfit.”  A real man should never wear anything remotely approaching what anyone would call an outfit.  That’s for women to do and its one of the things we love about them.  Dressing in an outfit for a man just makes him look like he’s trying too hard and compensating for some lack.

As previously mentioned, there is one exception: a killer suit.  The suit has to be  tailored to fit your frame, whatever size or shape that frame is – fat, skinny, muscular, or whatever.  And it has to be tasteful.  Color is OK as long as you make it your own.  I prefer traditional black, gray, or navy.  But that’s me.  Just make sure it fits you and then sell it to everyone you come into contact with.

A great suit worn with confidence makes any man intimidating and impeccable.  There is a caveat though.  The key to being the perfect man in that suit is that you have to be ready to ruin it at a moment’s notice to serve others.  You have to be ready to run out in the rain and help an elderly lady out of her car.  You have to be ready to give your jacket to a shivering women – no matter what.  Whether you’re trying to get in her pants or not.  Because it’s the right thing to do.  Even if doing so will jeopardize your own temporary comfort.  You have to be ready to kick a bad guy’s ass in your suit even if it means it will be ruined afterward.  You can buy a new one.  But being a pussy can never be fixed.

So, guys, if you are looking for the perfect set of sneakers to match your flat brimmed Dodger’s cap and pajamas to go out for the evening, stop what you’re doing right now and step away from Banana Republic.  You’ll be doing yourself a favor.  Be a man.  Buy some kick ass jeans that fit your body, some cool t-shirts, a few killer dress shirts, a few pairs of quality shoes in black and brown, and call it good.  You’ll be glad you did.
